About Yen:
Yen has been involved in the Solar & Storage industry for nearly 20 years.
Starting off from the financial perspective looking at developing green investment bonds as far back 2005 to switching to the “coal face” in 2010, working for a leading European Solar company in the UK division.
Yen has gained a comprehensive appreciation and understanding of the nuances of the UK renewables sector identifying a niche market and subsequently launching a company specialising in the provision of renewable solutions, dedicated to the emerging “Self Build” sector. Fast earning a reputation as the go to” consultancy / installer and also supporting the National Self Build & Renovation Centre – NSBRC where Yen regularly presents masterclasses and workshops.
Joining forces with fellow long term industry colleague, they developed the company further in 2019, with the successful launch of our Commercial & Public arm of the business resulting in multiple local councils and commercial sector contracts covering : schools, libraries, community centres, care centres, offices through to industrial units and destination venues such as hotels, sports clubs and garden centres. All with the key objectives to decarbonise through the electrification and reduction of energy via renewable sustainable energy sources.
