About Neil:
Neil’s passion is to enable people to have garden success, especially those who are short of time, lower in knowledge & like to have a nice home and garden.
Trying to make gardening simpler and easily accessible for these people is essential for his customers and if we’re honest our whole trade.
Neil has shared his passion & knowledge with BBC Radio Sheffield listeners via a weekly ‘phone in’ for 20 or so years, & recently, due to local radio changes, to listeners in the York & Leeds areas too.
Neil is also a Board Member of the HTA.
Neil trained in Commercial Horticulture at Writtle Agriculture College where he also met his wife Linda.
Linda, Neil & her sister Helen Watson have run Ferndale Garden Centre together since 1982.
